Millican and Working Class Heroes
We take a trip to the Home of Millican

In search of your perfect bag, we take the road out of Keswick to find Millican on a small farm, nestled at the foot of the Lake District's Skiddaw. This is the place that Jorrit and the Millican team call home. The place where they design sustainable bags for independent spirits and conscious travellers.

This trip immediately feels like a success.

▲ Tom likes to get up close and hands on when considering a new range for the store.

Jorrit is passionate about what his products represent. Millican celebrates the meaning in every journey. Inspired by the restless spirit of the open road, they create lifelong companions for the conscious traveller and deep thinker.

▲ It looks like one of these bags isn't going to be in our inventory for long.

Tom seems to be taking ownership of one these roll-packs already. The built-in laptop sleeve, storage compartments and reflective strip make this perfect for either commuting or the life on the trail. Winning stuff.

▲ Surprising that anything gets done. This is the view from the Millican Farm HQ window.

The local community is important to Jorrit and the Millican team, too. As well as being a naturally supportive place for them to live, it’s also a reminder to travel in a more connected way and bring back memories to share through the names of the people they meet and stories behind their bags.

TO BE CONTINUED ...
